2009 Fotofest Winners Announced!!!

“Snowy Egret With Reflection”

No golden statuettes or gold ribbons, but we had photographs, lots of photographs. The 16th Annual FotoFest was once again a huge success. There were a record 511 entries submitted by 106 photographers, another record. The viewing public cast 463 ballots for their favorites. Some observers opted not to vote at all, stating it was just too difficult to make a choice, too many beautiful images, and decided to walk among the photo displays and enjoy. Many ties in various categories testify to the quality of our entrants’ efforts. The first place winners will be on display at The Wilderness Center until June.
Our volunteers are a very important part of making this undertaking a great weekend and have proved an event such as this cannot be done well without them. Thank you!
