The Enchanted Forest at TWC
October 9 & 10th 6:30 & 7:30 shows each night
“Magic” fills The Wilderness Center trails during the Enchanted Forest on October 9th & 10th, children will have a fun-but not scary-experience. They walk through the Enchanted Forest and meet various creatures of the night. This year our creatures are: Star-nosed Mole shares experiences of tunneling under the forest floor. Dirt helps you understand the importance of making things grow. Crayfish call streams and marshes home. Spider knows how important spiders are to humans. Slug sees what the woods look like at a slow pace. Salamander tells about life on the forest floor.
The Enchanted Forest is a fun, educational experience for children 4-10 years old. (They should bring their parents and grandparents along too!)
Visitors are escorted around the trail by fireflies who light the way with lanterns.
The fee for Enchanted Forest is $6/member; $8/nonmember; free for children three years and under.
