The 2007 Foto Fest will be held at The Wilderness Center on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, 2007.

The exhibition will be for prints only. "The Foto Fest's goal is to showcase outstanding nature photography for the general public's enjoyment."

Who can enter?                           The Wilderness Center members and the general public.

Who is judging?                          The general public will review the exhibit  and judge through

                                                      ballots given out at the door from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Saturday,

                                                      and 1 - 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

What are the awards?                 Certificates and Ribbons will be awarded in each category.

Nature Categories

Must not include hand of man:`

                                                       WILDLIFE (No captive animals)
                                                       WILDFLOWERS
                                                       GENERAL NATURE
                                                       LANDSCAPES

May include hand of man:

`                                                      DOMESTIC FLOWERS
                                                       ANIMALS (Domestic or captive)
                                                       INSECTS, BUGS & SUCH
                                                       PICTORIAL (SCENIC)
                                                       BIRDS (Wild or Domestic)

Youth Category: (16 years and under)

                                                        All of the above

Rules

Fee $4.00 per entry, no limit. $2.00 for Youth Category, no limit.
All prints must be mounted.
No framed prints will be accepted.
5” x 7” is the smallest print permitted.
16” x 20” is the largest print permitted (Including matting).
No names may appear on front of print.
All entries must include, on the back of the photograph, the name and address of entrant as well as a TITLE. Untitled prints will not be accepted.
The FOTO FEST Committee reserves the right to reclassify or reject any entry deemed necessary.
First Place winners will be displayed at The Wilderness Center for the month following the award presentations.

Entries will be accepted up to 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at The Wilderness Center

Winners will be announced and awards will be given out at the regular Nature Photo Club meeting, Saturday,
May 3, 9:30AM. All entrants are invited to attend this meeting. All prints, except first place winners, may be picked up at this time or the week following the awards. Prints will be returned by mail only if a self-addressed mailer with proper postage is provided. Prints received after deadline, whether by mail or in person, will not be entered in the FOTO FEST.
