Salamander Monitoring: How you can help

1) Follow the progress of our monitoring by looking at the salamander monitoring updates pages.

2) Come to a salamander program or night hike!  Your support of our programs lets us know the public is interested in what we are doing. Send us an email and tell us you would like to be put on the call list for salamander hikes. (We can't schedule these far enough ahead to put in the newsletter, so we'll call and let you know when the hikes will be.)

3) Help us monitor. We monitor three times a year; monitoring consists of identifying and measuring salamanders and collecting other environmental data (weather, water temperature, etc.). We also monitor terrestrial salamanders several times a year.

4) If you belong to a group or organization that might be interested in monitoring or related programs, please contact us.
