Vicki Shoenfelt

Marketing Director/Volunteer Coordinator 

Vicki is Marketing Director and Volunteer Coordinator for The Wilderness Center. Vicki handles the newsletter, website, press releases, social media, email notices and schedules and works with over 700 wonderful volunteers each year.

 Vicki has had 33 years experience with business and non-profit associations including working for the Akron Zoological Park and acting as Executive Director to the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce and the Canal Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Vicki also grew up in a family construction business and helped with the business over the years and can drive a backhoe and other construction equipment.

Vicki enjoys gardening, gourmet cooking and swimming and especially likes spending time teaching her grandchildren about birding and nature.
