The  Wilderness  Center  is  a  Land  Trust

TWC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation organization that works with landowners for the preservation of land.  We are interested in Helping you to protect natural and agricultural lands, primarily within the Sugarcreek watershed.

There are several ways a land owner can protect their land in perpetuity so that it may be enjoyed by future generations. Land may be donated to The Wilderness Center through a Life Estate, Will or a Trust.  A Conservation Easement is another way to protect your land.  This method allows for continued family ownership after your death, but places restrictions on how the land can be developed.  There are tax benefits that may be realized either through a Life Estate or Conservation Easement.  If you have any questions please contact either Gordon or Gary at The Wilderness Center.

Total Land Conserved 2,922 Acres
