Joann Ballbach Education Director
Joann received her Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit. She came to the nature center field after 6 years of classroom teaching and 6 years as a professional Girl Scout Outdoor Program DIrector. She's been at The Wilderness Center as Education DIrector since 1988. She especially enjoys presenting planetarium shows, developing "spontaneous learning" opportunities for families, and being a "podcast personality." |
