SCHOOL PROGRAMS

We’re proud to present The Wilderness Center’s School Programs! Of course, all Wilderness Center School Programs correlate with the Ohio State Academic Content Standards.
The Wilderness Center has been offering school nature programs for over 40 years. We strive to make every program hands-on and up-close. Most programs are offered here at the Center, but some can also come to your site. Each program is designed to be adapted to a range of age/grade levels, but our levels are suggestions—you know your students and curriculum best. Please try to schedule no more than 2 consecutive grade levels in each presentation.
Demand for programs at TWC has grown! So, outreach programs at your site (except Star Watch) are not available in May or October in order to better serve groups that come to TWC. We’re happy to visit your site all the rest of the year!
