music series. There’s something for everyone!
Craic Brothers Concert Flyer Sat., Mar. 9, 7 p.m. New this year!“Craic” is Gaelicfor fun, party,music, drink,and entertainment. From Cleveand, the band consistsof Bernie Mc-Cafferty on guitar; Brian P. McCafferty on bass, bouzouki, and mandolin; Leslie Basalla on fiddle; Dan Hulseon mandolin, bouzouki, bass, guitar, banjo, tin whistle,and djembe; and everyone on vocals!
Back Porch Swing Flyer Sat., Apr. 13, 7 p.m. With swingin’ rhythm and old time flavor, the combined talents of these 5 musicians have set feet tapping across Ohio with western swing and a bit of Appalachian, blues,folk, and swing.
Upriver Sat., May 11, 7 p.m. Upriver is a well traveled musical – historical time machine, combining an extensive repertoire of American and Celtic folk music with insightful looks into 18th and 19th century American history.You will learn, laugh, cry, or tap your foot as the Civil War era comes to life.
Tants Muziky Sat., June 8, 7 p.m. New this year! Tants Muziky means “Dance Music” in Ukranian. This all-instrumental band plays ethnic folkmusic from Slavic, Scandinavian, and Eastern European countries. Mike Bardin on accordion and drums, Judy Thomas on handmade Romanian fiddle, and Tess Chance on clarinet.
Country Sunrise Special Sat., September 7, 7 p.m. Joyfully makin’ music—Bluegrass, country, Gospel…Rich blend of male and female vocal harmonies withstrong acoustical instrumentation.
Stockdale Family Band Sat., Oct. ?, 7 p.m. (date to be determined) Traditional and Gospel bluegrass, with a touch of Appalachian music and comedy for good measure. Father and brothers often spend kitchen and farm chore time honing harmonies.
Hastily-Assembled Grassroots Band Sat., Nov. 9, 7 p.m. A TWC favorite with an expanded repertoire! Explore a wide range of music from rock-a-billy to reggae, blues to bluegrass, country green to city blue, the band members come together at an intersection of American music.
