For more details, directions, and wedding pictures, please visit our website. The Wilderness Center DOES NOT have an on-site Wedding Coordinator. You must hire your own coordinator, or be expected to do the decorating, organization, hire catering and clean up yourself. Our staff will be more than glad to meet with you and give you some ideas.

Multi-purpose Room 500 sq. ft. 24 seated with tables Included in rental of Buckeye Auditorium, Trillium Room, or a Picnic Shelter. Recommended for Bride’s prep room.
Kitchen: small 100 sq. ft. Included in rental of either Buckeye Auditorium or Trillium Room.
Picnic Shelters/Amphitheatre/Overflow Prairie Shelter: 1,200 sq. ft. Banquet seating 60, Must be rented to use overflow parking area Theatre seating 100, Standing 200
Lakeview Shelter: 1,200 sq. ft. Banquet seating 60, *Must be rented to use amphitheatre Theatre seating 100, Standing 200
Rustic Shelter: 800 sq. ft. Banquet seating 60, *Must be rented for area across Alabama Ave Theatre seating 100, Standing 200
Note: seating capacity will be less if gift table, banquet tables, misc. other tables are set up.
Pricing: Inside the Interpretive Building: Rate is for your choice of the Buckeye Auditorium or Trillium Room. Includes Kitchen , Multi-purpose Room, usage of The Wilderness Center’s tables and chairs, coffee pots, roaster pans, and trash cans. Any decorations or variations from Center’s tables and chairs must be provided by wedding party. Wedding party is responsible for set-up and tear-down/clean-up of all rented rooms. Rates are calculated for the entire period that the Center does not have exclusive use of the room, as when used for set-up and tear-down.

Friday Evening Rental 5- 11 p.m. 800.00 Saturday Day Rental 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 800.00 Saturday Evening Rental 5-11 p.m. 1,000.00 Sunday Day Rental 12-5 p.m. 800.00 Sunday Evening Rental 5-10 p.m. 1,000.00 ($100 discount available when renting both the Buckeye Auditorium and the Trillium Room)
Outside: Rate is for your choice of the Lakeview, Prairie, or Rustic Picnic Shelter. Shelter rental includes Multi-purpose Room, 6 picnic tables, and trash cans. Prairie Shelter rental includes overflow lot; Lakeview Shelter rental includes amphitheatre; Rustic Shelter rental includes semi-private surrounding area. Lakeview and Prairie Shelters have limited electricity; the Rustic Shelter does not have electricity. Does not include additional tables or chairs or other Wilderness Center equipment. Wedding party is responsible for set-up and tear-down/clean-up of all rented areas. Rates are calculated for the entire period that the Center does not have exclusive use of the room, as when used for set-up and tear-down.
