For two nights each October, the trails surrounding The Wilderness Center are filled with the laughter and excitement of families discovering the nocturnal creatures of the Enchanted Forest. As guests are escorted along our pumpkin-lit trails by volunteer ‘fireflies,’ these friendly animals will sing songs, tell jokes and share stories of their lives in the nighttime woodlands.
Following this 45-minute walk, families can return to the Interpretive Building for refreshments.
Children and adults are welcome to wear non-scary costumes.
Members $6; Non-members $8;
Children 3 and under free.
Online registration is not open for this event.
Please call 330.359.5235 for reservations.
No reservation cancellations will be accepted after
close of the business day Saturday, Oct. 3rd.
This event would not be possible without the support of about 100 volunteers each year. Anyone interested in helping create the magic of the Enchanted Forest by offering their time and talent should contact volunteer coordinator Debbie Casto at firstname.lastname@example.org.
