Nature Photo Club: Pixels, Selections and Layers – the Fundamentals of Digital Post-Processing
You’ve just come in from a great photo shoot with your new digital camera. Now what? Jim Orchard and Paul Keske will introduce you to the basic fundamentals of digital post-processing. Jim will start with examples of how Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements use pixels, selections and layers to add dramatic effects to digital images. He will then demonstrate an example, using Photoshop Elements (version 2018). Paul will follow using Adobe Photoshop. In this way, you will be able to see some of the similarities and differences in the two programs. He and Paul Keske are currently conducting a free-of-charge open-to-anyone digital post-processing class that meets weekly in Ashland, Ohio.
