2020 OCVN Training Program Brochure
The Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) Program is run through OSU Extension. Participants complete 40 hours of training and 40 hours of community service. Coursework includes training in geology, plants, insects, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, ecology, stewardship, and interpretation. Classes are offered throughout the state.
The Wilderness Center Chapter of
Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists
This chapter is for graduates of the OCVN program. The purpose of this chapter is to promote the OCVN program and provide a forum for the exchange of educational and volunteer opportunities among OCVN graduates. The chapter meets on the second Saturday of each odd month (Jan, Mar, etc.) at 10 am for an educational program and short meeting. |
