The Wilderness Center relies on volunteers for a number of different tasks and jobs. Your help is one of our most valuable resources! By donating your time, you are directly supporting Conservation, Education, and our Community.
There are a number of different jobs that volunteers can do. Take a look below and then fill out our volunteer interest form. We would love to have you as a volunteer at TWC!

Store Greeters are multi-taskers! They are the friendly faces that TWC visitors see and refer to for help when needed.

Grounds and Maintenance volunteers keep the trails and Nature Center looking beautiful!

Docents/Educators are volunteers who help with adult and children education programming and serve on the Education Committee.

Land Stewards help in the control of invasive species, planting of trees and trail maintenance.

Nursery volunteers help plant, repot, and care for plants in the Native Plant Nursery.

Volunteer for special events like the Enchanted Forest, Run Wild Race, and Ales for Trails. There are a wide variety of duties, and you'll get to enjoy the event in a whole new way!

Help with trail maintenance, clean-up days, and/or helping to answer questions and promote Conservation Burial through Foxfield Preserve
