Astronomy Club Meeting

When long-time Repository photographer Bob Rossiter semi-retired in 2019, one of his desires was to apply his vast photographic experience to the night sky. He joined the Astronomy Club at TWC, made acquaintance of some of our experienced astrophotographers, and worked hard at his new craft. He has turned into a first-class craftsman.

Bob will share with us how he images the night sky from the light dome of Belden Village to the dark skies of Texas. He’ll set up the telescope and equipment that he uses in his backyard and for eclipses. He will also discuss his remote imaging location in Texas. Along with a quick tutorial on the mechanics, he will show images from both locations.
