Explore the amazing biodiversity of Lash's Bog State Nature Preserve with us! Join us for a fun-filled day documenting the incredible variety of plants, animals, and other living things that call this unique place home. We'll be using the iNaturalist app, a user-friendly tool on your smartphone, to record our discoveries.

This event is perfect for nature lovers of all ages and backgrounds, and no prior experience is necessary. Come discover the wonders of Lash's Bog – everyone is welcome!

Terrain includes wetlands with shallow to chest-deep water, small streams, reforested uplands, and does not include maintained trails. See preserve spotlight column in Summer 2025 newsletter for more details. Please come with your preferred exploration tools, binoculars, waders, kayaks, cameras, etc.

Registration required. Due to parking limitations, we will meet at The Wilderness Center Interpretive Building and carpool 3.5 miles to the site.
