Exploring Senses Night Hike

Bats can hear shapes, raccoons’ sense of touch is 4-5 times better than humans, and you make your own night vision.  Join us at The Wilderness Center for a nighttime program exploring the unique senses of nocturnal creatures. We’ll practice some tricks to mimic these adaptations and sense the nighttime world in a whole new way.

Terrain: up to 1.0 miles; on gravel, grass, and sloped trails; slow pace with limited visibility (no white flashlights). Weather appropriate attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
