Jr. Naturalist: Winged Wonders

Join us this summer for our 6-part Jr. Naturalist series! This program is a 4-hour day camp for children ages 7-12. We'll be exploring different aspects of TWC during each one, however, it is not required to attend all the sessions.

We’re wrapping up this year’s Jr. Naturalist program with our eyes on the sky and our feet on the trails! Spend the day exploring all of TWC’s different habitats including the forest, lake, prairie, and wetlands, in search of birds. We will learn about the adaptations and behavior of birds that make them unique in the animal kingdom. We will also learn how to make hummingbird food and fill the feeders in our wildlife observation area. Binoculars will be provided or bring your own if you prefer!

Please send youth with a packed lunch, water bottle and weather appropriate clothes.
