Desert Solitude: A winter hike in the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park

A brief presentation on a hike in one of the most remote parts of the lower 48 states, the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park. The presentation will highlight the logistical amnd environemntal challenges of exploring this unique, rugged, and isolated portion of Utah, as well as showcase some of the most well-preserved ancient indigenous art from this region.
